GUWAHATI, Dec 21 - The death anniversary of Guru Teg Bahadur, the ninth Sikh Guru will be observed as Sharddhanjali Divas at the Gurdwara-Mataji at Chaparmukh Singh Gaon in Nagaon district with a three-day programme from December 25, a press release stated.

Akhanda Paath of the Holy Guru Granth Sahib will start at 10 am on December 25 and will end on December 27 at 10 am. The main Shraddhanjali function will begin from 11 am where the devotees will pay their tributes.

The Prabandhak committee of Gurdwara Mataji will also arrange one Dharmik-Diwan (Kirtan) at the Gurdwara premises from 11 am where katha, kabita, bhajan and sabad will be recited by devotees coming from different places of the region. Guru-Ka-Langar will be served to all the devotees after the main Dharniik-Diwan, the release added.
