HAILAKANDI, Jan 23 - Hailakandi Deputy Commissioner J.Keerthi convened a meeting with senior citizens of the district to get firsthand account of the problems faced by the people in the district on wednesday. She took over charge on Monday.
Detailed discussions were held on a gamut of issues facing the denizens and to bring about a coordination among the citizens on all such issues besides to ensure peace and harmony in the district. The DC assured all present that their genuine problems would be addressed and all possible avenues would be explored to redress them at the earliest. Keerthi asked them to submit complaints directly for necessary steps.
The new Deputy Commissioner sought the public participation and support to bring about necessary changes into effect and to take the aspirational district Hailakandi towards the path of development.
