GUWAHATI, Feb 5 � An all-Assam inter-educational institution (from Class IX to postgraduate level) prize money quiz contest organized on the occasion of the golden jubilee celebrations of Dainik Asam will be held at the District Library auditorium from 9:30 am on February 8.

Each of the participating teams will comprise two members. The quiz is not open for students pursuing Distance and Open education.

The contest which will have a special round on �Media in Assam� has prize-money of Rs 10,000, Rs 7,000, and Rs 5,000 for the top three winners respectively besides books, certificates and other attractive items.

Prof Dilip Barua, the doyen of quizzing in Assam, will be the guest quiz master in the event, which will be conducted by Navakanta Baishya and Dipankar Kaushik.

The prize distribution ceremony scheduled for 1:30 pm on the day will be attended by the Chief Justice of Gauhati High Court K Sreedhar Rao as the chief guest.
