GUWAHATI, April 1 � Dipak Chakravarty has taken over as the Managing Director of Numaligarh Refinery Limited (NRL) with effect from April 1, 2011.
Prior to his appointment as Managing Director of NRL, he was the Director (Technical) in the company in charge of overall refinery management. He has made a huge contribution in building up of Numaligarh Refinery from its nascent stage till its commissioning in the year 1999 and ensuring smooth operations thereafter.
He has also worked in Indian Oil Corporation Limited (Assam Oil Division), the erstwhile Assam Oil company and NEITCO (North Eastern industrial & Technical Consultancy Organisation). This was stated in an NRL press release.
