MANGALDAI, March 20 - Distribution of free of cost cycles under Chief Minister�s special scheme for class IX and X standard girl students under BPL of govt provincialized schools in Darrrag district has started.
Gurujyoti Das, BJP legislator from Mangaldai Assembly constituency in presence of Narnarayan Nath, additional deputy commissioner, Darrang in charge of Education, Nagen Boro, Inspector of Schools, Darrang, Binay Sarma, principal, Mangaldai Govt Higher Secondary School and other distinguished guests ceremonially began the distribution process for a total of 6,276 targeted beneficiaries of the district today.
In this connection, a public function was organized at Mangaldai Govt HS School campus under the aegis of the Inspector of Schools, Darrang.
Speaking on the occasion chief guest Gurujyoti Das appealed to the beneficiary students to avail the opportunity for their academic uplift and also make up their minds to earn a scooty under the present State government scheme by securing outstanding performance in the HS final examination.
