UDALGURI, April 3 - Along with rest of the country, the easy to use cVIGIL mobile application is now operational in Udalguri district to prevent unlawful activities like violation of Model Code of Conduct (MCC) and Election Expenditure Monitoring (EEM) violations by contesting candidates, political parties or anyone related to the candidates contesting in the forthcoming general elections.
The resultant cVIGIL mobile application shall connect the vigilant citizens with the District Control Room, Returning Officer or District Election Officer. The mobile application allows the vigilant citizens to give live reports on incidents of MCC or EEM violations within minutes of having witnessed them. The users don�t have to rush to the office of RO or DEO. The app is available in the Goggle Play Store or iOS store for download and the same can be used to click photos or capture videos that show the MCC/EEM violations.
