GUWAHATI, March 8 - Cultural organisation Deva is organising a programme titled �Smritir Safura� in memory of the late actor Lakhmi Borthakur at the GMC auditorium here in the evening of March 10, a press release stated.
The highlight of the programme that will begin at 6.30 pm will be Rabindranath Tagore�s famous play Streer Patra, to be directed and enacted by acclaimed artiste Seema Biswas.
The Song and Drama Division, Govt of India, will present a cultural programme on the occasion. The other programmes of the evening are a sarod recital by Dr Akashdweep and screening of a documentary on the acting career of Lakhmi Borthakur.
