DIMAPUR, Dec 2 - The Day 2 of Hornbill Festival 2015 was marked by traditional and cultural performances by various dance groups representing different zones across the country at Naga Heritage Village, Kisama today.
Organised by the North East Zone Cultural Centre, Dimapur, the cultural events began with Bihu dance from Assam followed by traditional dances from Arunachal Pradesh, Odisha, Meghalaya, Andhra Pradesh, Manipur and Punjab, performing together to showcase unity in diversity
The Hornbill International Music Festival 2015 was inaugurated by Parliamentary Secretary for Youth Resources and Sports, Music Task Force, Khriehu Liezietsu at IG Stadium, Kohima last night. Music lovers turned out in huge number.
Meanwhile, doctors from Down Town Hospital, Guwahati have been doing yeoman�s service for the people of Nagaland since Day 1 of the festival by offering free treatment and attending the emergency ailments during the 16th edition of Hornbill Festival.
