GUWAHATI, May 29 - Inter Battalion (Ops), Group Centre Judo, Gymnastic, Hockey competitions were organised at the Group Centre, CRPF, here from May 27 to 29 where all battalions and group centres under Northeast sector took part.
The closing ceremony was presided over by chief guest Prakash D, IGP, North Eastern Sector, CRPF, Shillong in presence of CT Venkatesh, DIGP, GC, CRPF, Guwahati, all officers and subordinate officers.
The team of 175 Bn were declared winner and 128 Bn runners-up in judo competition. Team of 120 Bn were declared winner and 48 Bn runners-up in gymnastics while GC Guwahati were declared winner and 128 Bn runners-up in hockey.
The chief guest distributed trophies, medals and commendation certificates to the winners and runners-up teams and players. Further chief guest also congratulated all the teams and members of organising committee for successful completion of the competitions, stated a release.
