GUWAHATI, Jan 25 - A group of 11 officer trainees of CRPF called on the Governor Prof Jagdish Mukhi at the Raj Bhawan today.
Welcoming the officers to Assam, the Governor exhorted them to work for the unity and integrity of the nation. He also lauded the role of the CRPF in restoring normalcy in Assam. The group was accompanied by IGP NES Prakash D.
Earlier, the training module was inaugurated by the IGP NES on the Group Centre campus at Khanapara. The officer trainees were briefed on the current security scenario in the North East. DIG GC RM Meena, DIG Range JPK Ray and other senior officers were also present on the occasion.
