GUWAHATI, Aug 9 - A group of past and present cricketer, along with sports organisers and journalists staged a sit in demonstration at the bank of the Dighalipukhuri demanding removal of Assam Cricket Association�s president Gautam Roy and secretary Bikash Baruah from their respective posts. The cricketers alleged that the ACA president and secretary are involved in corruption while running the organisation.
The demonstrators later sent a memorandum to the Chief Minister. The cricketers also sought the CM�s and Governor�s intervention in the matter, stated a release.
