Tension prevails in Pathalibam TE, near here over an incident of brutal turture of an old couple who were suspected to be �witches�.
It is to be noted that several people have suffered some mysterious diseases for several months in the worker lines of the tea estate. On March 6 night according to the workers of TE, a teenage girl of the line named as �Sathiya� who was possessed by a spirit alleged that Budhuram Mura (70) of 7 No. line is witch for which diseases have occured in the area.
After this declaration, the reincarnated �goddess� teenager girl and tea workers of the line brutally tortured Budhuram Mura and his wife Birachi Mura. Later, police of Moran PS gave medical treatment after rescuing seriously injured Budhuram.
