IMPHAL, March 10 - Everything is set for the counting of votes of 60 Assembly constituencies in Manipur across 33 counting halls located at 11 counting centres, on Saturday.

The counting will be covered live, said State Chief Electoral Officer Vivek Kumar Dewangan. The ceomanipur.nic.in website will also upload live counting for every round, he informed.

Stating that restriction has been imposed in and around the counting centres which will be guarded by Central paramilitary personnel, he said, We will get a clear picture of voting by 12 noon.

Saturdays counting will decide the fate of 268 candidates belonging to ruling Congress, opposition BJP, Trinamool Congress, National Peoples Party, Naga Peoples Front, Left parties, Manipur National Democratic Front and others, besides Independents.

Meanwhile, repolling at 28 polling stations held following electoral malpractices during the last phase elections on Wednesday, passed off peacefully on Friday. The tentative voter turnout is 84 per cent, said the CEO.

Meanwhile, 89 per cent voters had cast their votes in the repolling at 34 polling stations on Thursday, he added.
