GUWAHATI, July 12 The nascent Cotton College State University (CCSU) will follow the syllabus prepared by the Cotton College faculty this academic year for its under-graduate (UG) programmes, while for the post-graduate (PG) courses the syllabuses of the Gauhati University would be continued this year.

The university also has put in place a provision for students to see their examination answer scripts.

For the UG programmes, CCSU will follow the syllabuses which have been prepared by the Cotton College faculty to meet the needs of the Choice Based Credit System (CBCS), as well as introducing emerging areas of interest with inputs from experts across the country as well as from abroad, CCSU Vice Chancellor Prof DJ Saikia said.

He added, For the PG programmes, we will initially start with the syllabuses of Gauhati University. The Cotton College teachers will continue to teach at the PG level, while new academic recruitment to the university will also be made, developing a close synergy between the college and the university.

For students, CCSU has put in place a system where they can go through their examination answer scripts after declaration of results.
