Contest for NE young managers

GUWAHATI, Aug 25 - The North East Young Managers Competition (NEYMC), the annual flagship event of the Guwahati Management Association (GMA) will be inaugurated at 9 am on August 28 at Hotel Rajmahal here, a press release stated.

The total members of participants in the contest is 60 that include professionals and managers from all sectors of economy. This year�s NEYMC will be completed in two days with three rounds of assessment of each participant.

The competition will be inaugurated by HK Sarmah, Commissioner of Industries and Commerce, Government of Assam as the chief guest, while Swapnanil Barua, Managing Director of AIDC will be the guest of honour. The nine-member jury will be headed by a senior professional.

GMA president DN Barua also informed that the issue as announced earlier to include the winners of the NEYMC 2015 to compete in the national finals in New Delhi in September could not be materialised for certain unavoidable reasons. Instead, an arrangement is being made with the AIMA to open up a separate venue in Guwahati to select the participants from the Northeast, he added.
