SHILLONG, May 20 - Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma today motivated National Cadet Corps (NCC) cadets during the ongoing Combined annual training camp that began here from May 12.
Altogether 400 Cadets participated in the camp. It included 335 cadets from Meghalaya and 65 cadets from other Northeastern States.
Interacting with the NCC cadets, the Chief Minister said NCC is the nation�s premier youth organisation which is �dedicated towards national unity and integrity.� He motivated the Cadets to become worthy citizens and future leaders of the country.
Sangma said the State Government is committed to provide all support for growth of NCC in the State as the organisation helps to develop worthy citizens for the nation.
The CM also distributed prizes to cadets who performed outstandingly during various events held during the camp.
