DIPHU, Sept 30 � The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Karbi Anglong district unit, has severely criticised the Hill Areas Development Minister Kharsing Engti and the Chief Executive Member of Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council Tuliram Ronghang for misleading the people of the district by giving wrong impression about the Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojuna (PMJDY).
In a press release, the BJP spokesperson alleged that Engti and Ronghang spoke against the PMJDY scheme at a public rally at Bakalia on September 15 and gave a complete wrong analysis to the people.
to mislead the common people just to keep them away from reaping the benefit of the government scheme.
Ronghang has no right to interfere and mislead the people on the schemes of Central Government whether it is PMJDY or any other schemes, the release stated.
