Cong failed to tackle boundary issue : AAPSU

ITANAGAR, April 9 � The All Arunachal Pradesh Students� Union (AAPSU) has charged the ruling Congress of having failed to tackle the decades-old boundary dispute with Assam.

�The Congress Government has totally failed to tackle the decades� long boundary dispute between Assam and Arunachal,� with Ministers and party MLAs spending more time in Delhi rather than in the State,� the apex students� body said in a statement here on Saturday.

The outfit called upon Congress, which is a ruling party in Assam, Arunachal and at the helm in Centre, to coordinate and try to bring in an amicable solution to the inter-State boundary problem.

�Report on boundary problem at Likabali came to limelight during the last month but the State Government failed to take it up with its Assam counterpart, the statement by AAPSU President Takam Tatung said.
