IMPHAL, March 27 - Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC-I) has demanded a clarification from BJP-led coalition government in the State and BJP-led NDA Government at Centre over the NSCN-M leader T Muivah�s reported remark that �Framework Agreement� recognises �Naga integration.�
Expressing serious concern over Muivah�s remark during the 38th Republic Day observation of NSCN(IM) on Tuesday, MPCC spokesperson Y Surchandra said, �Both BJP Governments at State and Centre should clarify as Congress will not tolerate any move against the territorial integrity of Manipur.�
Surchandra, Congress MLA from Kakching said that despite the repeated statements by BJP leaders that the �Framework Agreement� will not affect the territorial integrity of the State, Muivah�s statement is a matter of concern.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi as well as Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh in their election campaign in Manipur last month has assured that �Framework agreement� does not contain anything that can harm Manipur�s territorial Integrity.
