TURA, Aug 3 - Congress candidate Charlotte W Momin today filed her nomination papers for the upcoming elections to South Tura Assembly seat.

Charlotte was apparently the only party member to seek a ticket from Congress and her nomination is the second after that of Chief Minister Conrad Sangma. Two more contestants, including former South Tura MLA, John Leslee K Sangma, are most likely to file papers making it a quadrangular contest.

Monday is the last day of nominations.

UDP has extended its support for CM. The BJP and GNC among others have already extended their support to the CM.
