GUWAHATI, Dec 27 - The Journalists� Forum Assam (JFA) has expressed its grief at the demise of two media employees on Saturday morning in an accident that took place on National Highway-37 at Dergaon. The victims have been identified as Pankaj Medhi and Pranab Kalita.

The JFA in a statement issued by its president Rupam Barua and secretary Nava Thakuria appealed to the Kolkata-based management of the newspaper group to compensate the families of the victims adequately, as they died on harness.

The Forum has also urged the State to create a corpus fund to compensate all victims of circumstances belonging to the media in addition to the respective managements.
