SIVASAGAR, Oct 3 - Addressing the two-day BJP youth wings State executive meeting at ONGC Colony Dr Bhupen Hazarika Pandal on Saturday, Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal said, Swargadeo Chaolung Siu-Ka-Pha united the divided ethnic groups in Assam to build a greater Assamese society. Similarly, the Prime Minister is uniting diverse Indian society through his missionary principle Sabka Sath, Sabka Bikash and giving birth to a new progressive India. Fifty years prior to Indian Independence, Swami Vivekananda dreamt of a new India through emerging and enlightened youths. We as a nation must emulate Vivekanandas spirit to keep the pace stronger in an integrated India.

Later, he told the media that the NDA-led by BJP will form the next government as the party has its roots firmly in the ground, while most of the new political outfits yet to grow roots at the moment. The Narendra Modi-led BJP government at the Centre has done more for Assam than any other government in the past, he added.

The meeting was addressed by BJP State president Ranjeet Kumar Dass, BJP national secretary Dilip Saikia, BJP MP Rameswar Telli, BJP organising secretary Phani Sarmah, Minister Jogen Mohan, MP Kamakhya PD Tassa, among others.

Earlier, Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morchas State president Anup Barman hoisted the flag and in his speech said that BJPs main motto is to empower the weakest and the poorest in the society and raise him or her to a level of self-reliance. He urged the youths of the State to work harder in the field and give more importance to conscience than emotion.
