GUWAHATI, May 9 � Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi today asked the Superintendent of Police, Dibrugarh to quickly probe into the cold-blooded murder of Dr Sarita Tasniwal, a young woman doctor in the Intensive Care Unit of the Assam Medical College (AMC), said an official press release here.
The Chief Minister, while expressing his deep sorrow over the tragic incident, ordered the SP to quickly investigate into the case and to arrest the culprit(s) behind the gruesome murder.
Gogoi further asked the SP to ensure security in and around the AMC premises to prevent recurrence of such crimes.
