CM hints at reshuffle of ministry soon

JORHAT, Oct 6 � With a clear indication of reshuffling some ministries of his cabinet this October, Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi today categorically said he is going to discuss �the matter with the party high command� soon as it requires the high command�s approval.

After participating in a public Namaj at Titabar today Gogoi told reporters that some new faces would also be included in his cabinet. �Some ministries will be reshuffled. New faces will also be included,�said Gogoi.

However, the chief minister refrained from mentioning exactly how many MLAs are projected for ministries.

Though reshuffling of ministries became a vital political issue for the last three years in the state the chief minister refrained from mentioning any time-frame for the process till Monday.

During his visit to Titabar and some of its adjoining areas Gogoi interacted with many local citizens of tea gardens and took stock of the implementation of government schemes in the rural areas concerned.
