CM Gold Cup soccer from Jan 5

NAMCHI (SIKKIM), Dec 18 - South District Football Association (SDFA) today held a meeting and press conference in the south district headquarters with its new� executive body headed by president Arjun Rai to announce the 9th All India Chief Minister Gold Cup International Football Tournament which is making a comeback after a hiatus since 2014.�

The organisers stated that the tournament will be held from January 5 to 19 which would include teams from across the country and neighbouring Nepal and Bhutan. Further the organisers have stated that with an aim to take the sporting event to international tier two levels this year the tournament will witness international participation.

The winning team will get Rs 3 lakh while the runners-up will get Rs 2 lakh.
