GUWAHATI, April 13 - Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal has congratulated award winners Rima Das, Utpal Barpujari, Bhanita Das and Mallika Das.
An official press release quoted the Chief Minister as saying: �It is a proud moment for Assamese cinema as Rima Das� directorial venture Village Rockstars was named the Best Feature Film at the 65th National Film Awards. I congratulate the young filmmaker for this achievement. The success of her film would surely usher in a new beginning for Assamese film industry,� Sonowal said.
He also congratulated the Best Child Artiste Award winner Bhanita Das and Best Location Sound Recordist Award winner Mallika Das, both from Village Rockstars, on achieving the feat.
The Chief Minister also hailed the achievement of Utpal Barpujari, whose film Ishu bagged the Best Feature Film award in the Regional Language category (Assamese).
