GUWAHATI, March 2 - The 1st Battalion of National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) in association with the Umananda Temple authority today carried out a cleanliness drive on the temple premises.
Forty NDRF personnel carried out the cleanliness drive as per NDRF�s mission and vision �Clean, Eco-Friendly & Plastic Free Umananda Temple�, a statement said.
The NDRF personnel also generated awareness among the devotees and visitors on cleanliness and proper waste disposal with an aim to intensify the focus on cleanliness.
