Clause 6 panel in Delhi

NEW DELHI, Jan 12 - The Committee for Implementation of Clause 6 of Assam Accord is likely to submit a preliminary report of its work to Union Home Minister Amit Shah when they meet him tomorrow morning.

A four-member delegation of the committee headed by Justice (retd) Biplab Kumar Sharma arrived here this afternoon.

The All Assam Students� Union boycotted the visit.

The committee was earlier expected to meet the Union Home Minister late in the evening. Shah is out of Delhi but scheduled to return to the capital later in the evening.

Meanwhile, sources said that the committee has almost wound up its work though it is yet to iron out some minor issues.
