Civil Services Day

GUWAHATI, April 22 - The Northeast Institute of Advanced Studies (NE-IAS) celebrated Civil Services Day on Friday on their Guwahati campus to motivate and boost the morale of civil service aspirants undergoing pre-examination training at the NE-IAS.

Speaking on the occasion, Nripen Sarmah, director academics of Northeast-IAS, urged the aspirants to inculcate in themselves a good understanding of human values so as to become able administrative leaders in future.

He also stated that Northeast Institute of Advanced Studies will offer free training to 100 talented youths of the State for UPSC/APSC Examination. �A pool of experienced faculty from Delhi has been invited to conduct the training,� he stated.

�NE-IAS is going to conduct action-led and result-based training in Guwahati�, attracting students from the entire Northeastern region,� a statement from Tilak Ranjan Sarma, executive officer of NE-IAS, stated.

�This initiative of NE-IAS will surely benefit a large number of youths who dream of a career in the civil services, but cannot pursue the same for various reasons. NE-IAS makes an appeal to all those youths who are graduates and above 21 years to be a part of this mission and make their dreams come true,� the statement added.
