GUWAHATI, Sept 11 - The State Health Department has suspended the registration and licence of the Pratiksha Hospital located on the VIP Road for alleged professional negligence in May, 2014.
On the basis of a complaint lodged by one Hownar Rashid of Japorigiog area, the Health Department initiated a probe and found the hospital guilty of professional negligence. A number of show-cause notices were also issued later. The suspension order has been served for a period of 30 days.
The Registrar, State Health Authority, today issued the suspension notice and ordered that the OPD of the hospital and fresh admissions should stop immediately.
