GUWAHATI, Aug 23 - Guwahati boy Rohan Talukdar, now living in Canada became the national chess champion in Canada. He won the title in the U-14 Canadian Youth Chess Championship.�

Rohan will represent Canada in the World Youth Chess Championship to be held at Montevideo, Uruguay from September 16 to 26. Rohan is the first Assamese to top in a foreign country in chess.
