JALUKBARI, Nov 3 - The blood bank of Narayana Superspeciality Hospital, Amingaon, has been awarded the prestigious NABH (National Accreditation Board for Hospitals and Healthcare Providers) accreditation.
NABH is considered as the highest national recognition for quality patient care and safety conforming to global benchmarks for excellence in healthcare service delivery. The blood bank of the hospital started functioning on May 4, 2015.
Meanwhile, NABH, in association with Narayana Superspeciality Hospital is organising a three-day training programme on implementation of NABH standards for blood banks from today in the hospital premises. The programme is open for participation by doctors as well as technical experts from blood banks of the entire north-east India.
