SHILLONG, Jan 8 � A CISF head constable was yesterday stabbed to death by his subordinate near the Umroi Airport in Ri-bhoi district. The accused, Pawan Kumar Singh, has since been arrested and sent to seven days� police custody.
According to police, Amal Rai, the head constable, was taken to an isolated spot near the airport by Singh, who stabbed him to death. Police said that the accused used a khukri (machete) to kill his senior colleague.
