JORABAT, Dec 18 - The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) that had been camping at Sonapur PWD Bungalow from Friday in connection with its investigation into the Jogdal multiple murder case, winded up its camp today, hailing the support it received from the people of Dimoria region during the four-day stay.

It may be recalled that the CID has been probing the murder of Harkanta Doloi and five members of his family, including four children, at Jogdal village in Sonapur on December 12, 2009.

CID officer, Ranjit Baruah said, The residents of Dimoria have come forward on their own and helped us a lot in the investigation by giving their statements. We have also recorded statements of the leaders of different organisations of Dimoria and the wife of Arjun Bordoloi, a prime accused in the case who died under mysterious circumstances in 2012.

The CID would review all the statements and move forward in the investigation, he added.
