GUWAHATI, June 16 - Customs sleuths today seized 350 cartons of Chinese apple weighing 6,300 kg at ISBT, Guwahati. The value of the seized apples is Rs 1,26,000. The consignment was brought from Imphal by bus.
The Customs duty of the consignment will be about Rs 8 lakh. So far no one has come forward to claim the seized goods. A case has been booked and now it is under investigation, Customs sources said.
