GUWAHATI, July 13 - Rajiv (8), an inmate of a Children�s Home run by the State Social Welfare Department at Fatasil Ambari died under mysterious circumstance this morning.
While unofficial versions alleged that the child died after falling from the boundary wall of the shelter home while trying to escape, the shelter home management said that the boy had an accidental fall while trying to retrieve a kite stuck on a tree branch.
Some local residents have alleged that the management of the shelter home had left a lot to be desired, resulting in escape bids by children and juveniles from the home.
