Children Film Fest inaugurated in Shillong

SHILLONG, Sept 22 - The final leg of the week-long Children Film Festival � The Travelling Players � was inaugurated here today by Meghalaya Minister for Information and Public Relations, Ampareen Lyngdoh. The festival is being held at U Soso Tham Auditorium and would culminate on September 23. The festival began on September 19 at Tura.

Addressing school students, Lyngdoh said the world needs people for the next generation who can bring about the change that we desire to see through creative minds and imagination. She also advised the students to believe in themselves because only then would they be able to design the future.

The festival was organised by Children�s Film Society of India, Union Ministry of Information and Broadcasting and its outreach partner Cinedarbaar in collaboration with State Directorate of Information and Public Relations.
