GUWAHATI, Oct 22 - Chasing a winning target of 279 in the second innings, Chhattisgarh were tottering at 50 for six on the penultimate day of the four-day Group C Ranji Trophy match against Haryana at the Barsapara stadium here today.
Haryana, after conceding a 11-run first innings lead, scored 289 in the second innings. Himanshu Rana was their top scorer with 75 while Rajat Paliwal added 59.
The Chhattisgarh batsmen failed to hit form in the second innings as Pankaj Rao wrecked their innings with a five-wicket haul.
