GUWAHATI, Feb 23 � Barpeta District Chess Association in collaboration with Jyoti Rabha Nazrul Sangha is organising the �Abdul Karim Bhuyan Memorial Prize Money Open Chess Tournament at Kalgachia, Barpeta from February 27, stated a release.
A total prize money of Rs 70,000 is on offer in this 7 round Swiss League tournament which is open to all players of Assam.
The organisers will provide accommodation to the outstation players.
Players intending to take part in the championship may contact the organisers or officials of the Assam Chess Club.
