GANGTOK, July 20 � Sikkim Chief Minister launched five mobile Veterinary Clinic Vans for districts today.
The vans have been launched to provide animal health care delivery for specified rural areas with team of veterinary professionals and para-professional staff, support equipment and medicines in order to provide preventive and curative services as well as breeding facilities which would provide prompt animal health care and service at the door step of the people.
The mobile clinics would also help in disease surveillance, monitoring of livestock and poultry disease and to create awareness about modern technology for improving productivity.
