IMPHAL, March 17 - Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh today said he would apprise the Centre about reports of �unofficial designated camps of NSCN(IM) in the State�.
The first BJP Chief Minister of the landlocked State said a report would be soon be compiled about the reported presence of �unofficial designated camps of NSCN (IM) and lawlessness prevailing along the Indo-Myanmar border areas.�
The �official designated camps are the duty of the government� but the reported �existence of unofficial camps needs to be identified with photographs�, Singh told reporters here.
The CM said he would also apprise the Centre on what basis they (unofficial designated camps) have been set up in the State. � PTI
