NEW DELHI, June 12 � The Centre today the sign a draft Memorandum of Settlement (MoS) with the Dilip Nunisa faction of the DHD.
The draft was signed by Dilip Nunisa, who lead a five member delegation and Sambhu Singh, Joint Secretary (NE).
The draft MoS will now be sent to the Assam Government for approval by the State Cabinet. A draft MoS with the rival Garlosa faction was signed by the Centre last year. Both the MoS will be considered by the Union Cabinet together. Dispute over 96 villages had held up the MoS. The matter has now been settled, sources said.
