Centre building 10,000 km roads in NE: Gadkari

NAGPUR, Oct 2 - Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari today said the Central Government is constructing 10,000 km of roads in the North East States at a cost of Rs 50,000 crore.

�The Central Government is laying a 10,000-km wide road network in the tribal-dominated North East States at a cost of Rs 50,000 crore. Efforts are also on to build a rail link across the seven states of the North East region,� Gadkari said. � PTI
