IMPHAL, July 10 - The Anti-Vehicle Theft Team (AVTT) of Manipur Police, in collaboration with a team of Kolkata Crime Branch, recovered at least nine cars which were stolen from Kolkata, from various places in Imphal East district.
This was disclosed by Imphal East SP K Meghachandra while briefing reporters at Porompat here today.
The nine cars were recovered by a team led by Additional SP Romi Mayengbam on July 6 , Meghachandra said. The cars were stolen between February and March.
