GUWAHATI, Nov 3 - Principal Director Audit, Central Mumbai entered the final of the men�s team event in the Indian Audit & Accounts Department Inter-Zonal Carrom Tournament 2015 being played here.
The Mumbai team defeated AG Delhi Audit(B) 2-1 in the first semifinal. In the other semifinal, AG Andhra Pradesh, who beat hosts AG Assam 3-0, will take on AG Madhya Pradesh.
Earlier in the morning, the tournament was inaugurated by Pinuel Basumatary, State Information Commissioner, Government of Assam. All India Carrom Federation vice president Pradip Hazarika, who is also the general secretary of the Assam Carrom Association, was present as the guest of honour in the inaugural function that was also attended by Deepak Narain, Accountant General, Assam. � Sports Reporter
