GUWAHATI, Jan 16 - The Viswa Hindu Parishad Guwahati Mahanagar Samity has appealed to all its 19 prakhandas to actively take part in the Luitparia Hindu Sanmilan to be held on the veterinary playground, Khanapara on January 21.
In a press release today Samity president Santi Kr Singha urged all its members to attend the Sanmilan without fail.
Meanwhile, the VHP Guwahati Mahanagar Samity felicitated its former president and life member Nripendra Nath Sarma on the occasion of his 86th birthday on Sunday at a simple function held at his Chenikuthi residence, the release said.
