DIMAPUR, Feb 7 - The Nagaland Joint Christian Forum (NJCF) has called for a special prayer on Sunday next to �seek God�s intervention on the Naga political issue�.
Taking serious note of the stalled political negotiations between the Centre and the Naga National Political Groups (NNPGs), the Forum, in a release issued by NJCF president Rev Zelhou Keyho, who is also the general secretary of the Nagaland Baptist Church Council, today asked all churches across the State to hold a special prayer on the issue.
The Forum said, �It has become the attitude of the Government of India to sideline the issues arising from Nagaland and this time around it has become very clear that they instigate a non-issue to cover up and drag the issue at hand.�
The Forum also asked the churches to pray for the North Eastern region which is engulfed with unrest due to the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill.
