TURA, Oct 26 - The conductor of a night bus was crushed under the rear wheels of the bus at around 3:30 am today. The incident occurred in Rongram village, about 14 kms from here.
The deceased has been identified as Liton (Titu) Ghosh (35), a resident of Babupara here.
According to witnesses, the bus had stopped at Rongram to drop passengers and goods when the conductor got off to check the tyres.
The driver unknowingly backed the vehicle leading to Ghosh being crushed under it.
