GUWAHATI, Dec 18 - Bud Cricket Club made it through to the summit clash of the Ankurjyoti Challenge cricket championship for the Ratan Lal Singhania and Mohini Devi Singhania Trophy.
In the first semifinal played at the Judges� Field here today, Bud CC posted a five-wicket victory over City Cricket Club.
Put into bat the City CC team notched up a challenging 209 for the loss of eight wickets in their stipulated 35 overs. But the score was not enough as Bud CC batsmen took control of the situation and reached the target in the penultimate over losing five wickets.
