GUWAHATI, May 25 - In view of complaints received from various quarters regarding contamination of breads sold in the market, the Kamrup Metro district administration has decided to check the quality of bread being sold.
Kamrup Metro DC Dr M Angamuthu today directed the Joint Director of Health to activate his team to collect samples of bread from various bakeries and outlets for analysis of the permissible limits of chemicals and preservatives used for baking of breads and submit a compliance report to the DC at the earliest.
